Welcome to Global Pau Hana Meet old friends. Make new ones.
Start a Pau Hana in Your City
To find out how you can start a Pau Hana in your city, contact Dave Kozuki, founder of Bay Area Pau Hana and Global Pau Hana: Dave Kozuki.
Basically, it works like this:
If you live in a city listed on the left, just sign the database and check the box that indicates you would like to volunteer. You will be contacted. Volunteers can be event organizers (instigators) or greeters/facilitators at events. Every metro area should eventually have several instigators to help organize events. The overhead to help is minimal, but the rewards are immense.
If your city/metro area is not listed, contact Dave Kozuki as indicated above. It would help (but not necessary) if you have other contacts in your area who can help out. We will create a metro area STARTUP page so others can sign up and express interest. When we have enough critical mass, we'll hold an inaugural event.
Global Pau Hana events are typically informal and low key. Initially attendance expectations should be set low. Once you get to critical mass, the events will get larger.
Event frequency will vary by the number in your group. Some areas will have an event once a quarter or event once every 6 months. Some areas will have 1 a month. Occasionally there will be multiple events in a month.
