What is the Global Pau Hana?
Global Pau Hana is a world-wide grassroots community that helps people with an affinity to Hawaii:
- Build the community where they live
- Connect to individuals and groups in other cities
- Help Hawaii by joining the Pau Hana Database.
Global Pau Hana is the natural evolution of Bay Area Pau Hana. For the past three years, Bay Area Pau Hana has helped people in Northern California connect with each other and those back in Hawaii.

When is a Pau Hana going to start in my area?
By signing up for the Global Pau Hana database, you will help form a Metro Area Pau Hana near you. All members can connect with each other, so you can still be a part of the action wherever you reside.

How much does it cost to join Pau Hana?
There is NO COST to join the Global Pau Hana Database.
Events, whenever possible are no or low cost. The realities of securing a venue often will require a small participation charge to cover costs. Some events are Co-hosted with other organizations where Global Pau Hana does not set the admission price.
Pau Hana is a volunteer effort to help Hawaii. Everyone you see listed on the site has donated time to further the mission of Global Pau Hana.

What is Pau Hana's privacy policy?
We will not give rent or sell the database to any company. We will not send you e-mail ads. In the normal course of Global Pau Hana mailings, we may provide/sell space to entities that want to reach you.

How often will I receive e-mail from Pau Hana?
Our TARGET mailing will be once a month, typically to announce a Pau Hana event. If there are job opportunities that relate to your industry, we may send a separate email informing you of these opportunities. In some months you may not receive any emails.
